MONTAÑA REDONDA (ROUND MOUNTAIN), A LITTLE TASTE OF PARADISE

Hello, everyone,
Besides guiding my students to do all the writing you enjoy on ETEACHANDELEARN, I take sometime to enjoy beautiful places in my country, the Dominican Republic. Last Saturday, December 29th, my wife, some of my in-in laws, a friend and me went to Montaña Redonda (Round Mountain). This mountain is located in Miches, a little coastal town to the East. It is 1,000 feet high approximately. Because of all the beauty we experienced that day, I say that it is a little taste of paradise. I felt so good on top of that mountain that I decided to share some of its wonders. From all the attractions, which calls your attention the most? I hope you like these pictures. Do not hesitate and leave a comment.

I looked to the left and there was Laguna Rincón (Rincon Lagoon).

Then I looked to the right and there was Laguna Redonda (Round Lagoon).

Among the swings, I took a look at a lonely one across from the mountains. Doesn’t it look great?

Many people swing and feel like birds flying a thousand feet high.

Some of us took a little rest on a hammock, sat on a bench and saw the sea.

These girls had fun on a seesaw.

I had never seen a so-many-branch papaya tree. See its fruits. One of them is ripe!!!

Some people make fun of their friends when they approach this place. They say it is witches parking lot. Ha ha ha ha ha ha.

These are not witches. Even though they seem to be getting ready to take off, these girls are just getting ready to have lots of fun.

These are not flying. They are just having the best fun ever.

This landscape transmits peace, doesn’t it?

I even caught a piece of rainbow with the lens of my camera. Can you see it?

This table looks so romantic. It looks as if it were waiting for a group of friends or relatives to have a drink or a lively conversation.
