This summer, my English Composition students
and I are very busy. We are working on Subway Heroes and Heroines, our
writing project. This time, my student writers are doing research and writing about the
heroes and heroines Santo Domingo Metro Stations have been named after. Are you ready to take a ride? Take a little
taste of what you will experience at the end of our Summer English Composition
Course. That will be right here on Eteach and Elearn.
This is my Summer 2019 English Composition Class at the Universidad Autónoma de Santo Domingo, UASD in the Dominican Republic.

This is Mamá Tingó station, the Eastern last destination.
Take a look at Centro de los Heroes station, the Southern last destination.
Juan Pablo Duarte is the central station. Here, users transfer from Line 1 to Line 2 or vice-versa.
This is the Northern last station. It was named after María Montés.
Concepción Bona station is the last destination to the East of Santo Domingo City.
Here, the writers are working hard for you to learn a lot of different things about the Subway Heroes and Heroines.

I am really surprised how this teacher Maximo Encarnacion encourages his students to begin their first writing steps until they would become professional writers.

Moreover I want suggest him continuing posting pictures about tourism in Dominican Republic, such as antique monuments, streets that were named after heroes and heroines and exotic historical places. Finally, overall I consider this blog fantastic.

I want my families and friends to visit this blog because in this there are a lot of informations that can help you. For my part i like it.
On the other, some advice for future student of composition. To improve your reading, writing and vocabulary skills. My recommendation is to visit and read about this blog.
I finally took a look at the blog which seems to me that has been completally designed and created to motivate students to become excellent writers hand by hand we our tremendous and dedicated facilitator Máximo Encarnación Gomera whos effort does not cease. Keep up the good job!

Great job we’ve done! I really know that we’ll learn about Dominican’s heroes and how to create a paragraph. To be honest, this is really great!

ReplyDeleteWhat I love the most about this project is the amazing job we´ve done so far, in a tiny time frame. The way our educator provides us the information he’s got, and his own experience as a writer. Moreover, Mr. Encarnacion has taught us that we are able to write on a specific subject just putting enough determination, and love in our work. My expectation in this class is to comprehend and obtain the ability of any aspect of the writing process and its particular topic, which is putting down my ideas on a specialize topic giving it the right form, and share it with a specific audience.
ReplyDeleteI have to say that this summer has been a good experience for me to learn about my project and most importantly how to write a composition. It has been very interesting how my teacher has helped us step by step and i expect to be a better writer, i really enjoy it!!

On the one hand, i have to say that i have loved this subject more than i was supposed to do, it honestly has gone beyond all my expectations. I have improved my writing and comprehension skills a lot through this subject, and it has made me love my major more than ever. On the other hand, i want to thank our great professor for helping and encouraging us that much in this course, my respects for you. I expect to take advantage of all that knowledge our professor provides us to become as a great professor as he is.

Taking this subject with professor Máximo Encarnacion has been a great experience, because I have enriched my writing skills, and I have learned from my failures. I hope to learn more and more of the process of writing.

ReplyDeleteGood evening, taking this subject with the Professor has been a great experience, because he taught us how we can organize better our ideas, and being more organized at the time that we want to develop a topic, and has been incredible to know about each step of the writting process because it helps us to be more specific at the time of writting about the things we have in our minds being more creative person when we write and how to learn the writting process with quality.

I am so happy and proud of me and grateful because the professor Máximo Encarnación Gomera has taken out the best of me and day by day I get better to be a future writer.

ReplyDeleteIn my opinion i think this was a great project. First, of all, during the process we learned how generate ideas in order for us to write a paragraph. Second, we learned how to identify a topic sentence and the controling idea. Third, It has been one of the most important experience because of I learned a lot about my Project.

Good Evening, the essay that I chose was Pedro Francisco Bono's essay posted by Génesis Holguín. The thing that I like the most was the organization that this essay had through the development of each idea and the new things that I learned about his life. Through this essay I could ask myself if am I fighting and defending the values that we have like citizens or we're being conformist people and what things could I do for the improcedente of our country. For me this course has been interesting because helped us to keep our minds open and how we can be students with quality and being good citizens
