Something we should change in order to have a better Society.

Something we should change in order to have a better          Society.

The way of having fun is something; we should change in order to have a better society. Since  long  time ago, we  have  come  asking  ourselves  why the society  is  getting  worst  in  this  aspect   of  life?    Why there are too much corruption   especially in   teenagers?      Ask ourselves this question.   Are we doing something in order to avoid it continues happening?

Have you ever imagined how it would be if instead of roaming down the streets, children and teenagers practiced sports?

And what do you say about the famous Hookah?   What do you think if we change it for a trumpet or any other musical instrument?     Wouldn’t it be a good idea?

Another thing is the excessive use of cellphones.  As we know they are very important nowadays, but many people fall in addiction by the use of these and its applications.   Wouldn’t it be better if instead of to spend too many hours texting we took a book for Reading?

Aah! To get over it.   How it would be if instead going to parties where sex, drogs and alcohol are incited teenagers went to a recreation park?   Don’t you think that everything would be better in that way?

Fallow these advices and help the world to get better.

Vista Del Valle Neighborhood In Cotuí

By Aneurys Pérez

From its beginning, Vista del Valle neighborhood brings with it a wonderful history, a good development, and extraordinary changes over the time, which many people would be interested to know. As all neighborhoods, Vista del Valle, has a different history. It has its own origin, and also its evolution, making this neighborhood a treasure to discover.
There are many important things to learn about the beginnings of Vista del Valle neighborhood in Cotui. One day, Benjamin Jerez, who was the owner of a cattle farm, decided to sell part of his land. From that moment on, people started buying pieces of land in order to live there. However, it became a neighborhood called La Sabana, which was the name of the farm. The neighborhood was founded in 1999 during the first government of Dr. Leonel Fernández. Then, a teacher named Neris Rondón saw the natural environment, which looked like a valley. After that, she said that she would give a better name to the neighborhood. Eventually, the name, Vista del Valle, was given to it in 2001 when Ana Mercedes Casso School was founded. Both a basketball and a baseball fields were built that year. During the foundation of Vista del Valle, there were only three families living there. From then on, the population started increasing.
The past conditions of Vista del Valle neighborhood were not favorable at all. Almost everything seemed to be in chaos. There was only tall grass and forest all around. The roads were not good for any type of transportation because of the mud. The mud didn’t allow any vehicle to go over them, except horses. The first families didn’t have access neither to water not to electricity. Both were very far from the neighborhood. They were around two kilometers away. There was abundance of different kinds of insects such as spiders, wasps, mosquitoes, Etc. Finally, Vista del Valle neighborhood didn’t have sufficient conditions to be populated. These conditions made this place terrible to live in.
Through the time, Vista del Valle neighborhood has become a good place to live because of the facilities in it. One reason this is a good place to live is the diversity of stores, which means that it is not necessary to go to another place in order to go shopping. For example, if you want to buy clothes, footwear, appliances, staple items, foods, or medicines, there are some stores that sell them for you. There are also beauty places either for women or men such as beauty salons and barber shops. Another reason Vista del Valle neighborhood has become a good place to live is the places of entertainment, which are there for people to spend a pleasant and good time with friends or relatives. For instance, two billiard club, three video games clubs, and a betting sport bank are places where people spend time either playing pool, playing video games, or making bets on baseball games. Finally, the most important reason is Ana Mercedes Casso School located in this neighborhood and Professor Juan Bosch high school located no more than 10 minutes away from Vista del Valle by walk. These places provide education for anyone to study without going too far.
In contrast to the past conditions in Vista del Valle neighborhood, there are great differences in the present ones. In the past, everything seemed to be in chaos; however, in the present, everything is urban. The roads were impassable. On the contrary, the present roads are paved and ready to be traveled by any vehicle. Unlike in the present, there was a lack of water and electricity. In the present, the neighborhood has both water and electricity. Differently from the past, in the present there are many facilities and advantages. The conditions in Vista del Valle neighborhood have been improving over the time. In contrast to the past, the present conditions are far better for anyone to live in this neighborhood.
To conclude, Vista del Valle neighborhood is a good example of development and evolution since it has been able to go through many changes and a great history.  It should be noted that this neighborhood, despite being one of the newest in Cotui, has achieved great development that many neighborhoods so quickly have not.

Unexpected News

Thursday, November 14th, 2013

The news about Palito de Coco, Rumai, is not as it was expected. After his presentation on a TV program called ´´De Extremo a Extremo´´ and his participation in a stadium with Las Aguilas baseball team, Rumai divulged in La Súper Revista Program that he had been deceived by his manager, Oliver Peña, who denied everything. Oliver claimed not to have received money from these activities. He said that he had only received $ 3000 dollars From Frederick Martinez (El Pacha) for taking part in a TV commercial, and that he has given $1700 dolars to Rumai, more than 50 percent as established in the contract. Oliver Peña said that he would sue Rumai for defamation. Let’s wait what will happen.

The Oldest Rivalry in the Dominican Republic

The Oldest Rivalry in the Dominican Republic

December is a month in which people in the Dominican Republic come together and agree on everything, except for one thing: baseball. The Dominican Winter League started again, and thousands of people have been attending to the different stadiums countrywide. This season the six teams have been playing very well, but every single basebal fan thinks his or her team is the one that will win the national championship. The traditional teams, Aguilas Cibaeñas and Tigres del Licey, have been on top of the rest of teams. Aguilas fans tease Licey fans saying that their team is the best, but Licey fans say they will win because their team has the best players of the league. They often forget that there are other four teams, and that any of them could win the championship. Last year, Aguilas Cibaeñas were on top of the rest of the teams during the regular season, but at the end of the season they were defeated 5-0 by a team that ended up in fourth place. So, I think that, instead of arguing about which is the best team, it would be better if we enjoyed every game and waited untill the end of the season to know which is the best, wouldn't it?
