TITLE: FIRST SEMESTER OF 2017: OUR YARDS, HOUSES, AND APARTMENTS (Part 1)

Hi, everyone,
My English Composition Class took an interesting writing journey this semester (First of 2017). This time, I asked them to observe their yards and keep as many details as they could in their minds. In case they did not have one, they could observe their house or apartment. We processed all that information while we followed the writing process during the term. The pictures below show when they were posting their five-paragraph essays on the bulletin board. Please, take a look at them and leave comments.  Which picture strikes you the most? Why?
Ramón reads a poem about our experience during the semester.
Jazmín receives feedback from the teacher.
Student writers start decorating the bulletin board.

 An environmental metaphor starts showing.
Luisa María, a resourceful writer and decorator
Careful work ends up in marvelous results.
 Decorators working together become stronger.

There will not be any magic if there are not colorful materials.

Sandy and Luisa are decorating together for a good cause.

Getting butterflies ready to fly.
