The facade at Universidad Autónoma de
Santo Domingo, Recinto San Francisco de Macorís is the principal area to the
college. It is an
interesting and comfortable place for students. Here, teachers and students can
enjoy the garden and recreate freely. It has different types of trees like pines
and mangoes. It also has beautiful flowers with beautiful colors such as pink,
purple, orange, and red. Besides, there is a statue that is the most important
symbol of the college.
First, the Paint of the facade is appropriate
for the University. It was chosen by an engineer named Patricio Alvares who chose
it because all the institutions in the Dominican Republic are painted a similar
color. The paint gives a beautiful view to the university. The facade is
painted colonial white and apricot. The name of the college is painted blue,
and the corridors for handicap people are blue and yellow. They painted the
logo of the college blue, and its base white. The facade was painted on July
2012. It was painted by two men, and they were working for a month. The name of
the pharmacy has different colors like blue, red, and black.
Furthermore,
the garden has many things that make it very special. It has a beautiful view
that is special for the university and the nearby areas. The job of the
employees is to protect the garden and keep it in good conditions. The garden
offers an excellent view for students and teachers. Many students enjoy and
stay there, especially when it is hot. They can do many things under the trees
like doing their homework and talking to friends or classmates. In the winter,
for Christmas, many students and employees work on the garden and decorate it
with many lights.
The statue is not only a symbol
at the university. It is the symbolic representation of the Alma Mater. It
means “Madre Nutricia.” This expression is used to designate the university.
The woman has a hybrid profile, and her large breast represent the source of
knowledge, which nurtures generations through education. The woman has the logo
of the university in her hands. It is on a base which is decorated with different
flowers. The statue and the base are both
white. There are different types of pines around the statue which are wonderful
for the environment.
Finally,
students and teachers enjoy the garden at Universidad Autonoma de Santo Domingo,
Recinto San Francisco de Macorís. The different types of pine and flowers in
the garden make it more especial, and the students can rest there. The colonial
white paint gives a beautiful view to the university and helps that facade look
better. The statue of the university is a legacy that represents all the students
in this college.
